TV + Radio Host
Entertainment | Montreal, Canada Area, CA
Viva Magazine called her, " Quebec's Rock Star TV Host". She's won the Canadian Association of Broadcasters' Bronze Ribbon Award for Excellence in Cable Broadcasting. A TV and Radio host who can be seen and heard 7 days a week since 1998, Anne-Marie is also an Exec. Producer at Killer Queen Productions, a multimedia company she founded in 2006, currently co-producing Chuck's Day Off, the worlwide Food Network and Cooking Channel hit.
In 1998, in her 3rd year of Communications at Concordia University, Anne-Marie was hired as a VJ on MusiquePlus. She was only 19 at the time, and as she tried to juggle preparing interviews with rockstars while completing her B.A., Anne-Marie's life became a real-life version of 'Almost Famous'.
Over her four years at MPlus, Anne-Marie interviewed everyone from U2 to the Prime Minister! She waited 5hrs in a hotel lobby for a 20 min. interview with Mariah Carey, discovered a very shy Marilyn Manson in a trailer at Ozzfest, flew to the Bahamas to talk to Lenny Kravitz, tasted the fake blood on Slipknot's masks, and shared a Redbull with Ozzy, all on camera.
In 2002, Anne-Marie moved to network TV on TQS's Flash, covering worldwide events (Grammys, Oscars, film fests) and producing in-depth 30 min specials with Britney Spears, Shania Twain, Sting, and Elton John, which she sat down with exclusively.
In 2005, Anne-Marie took on a new role as host of the much talked-about La Fosse aux Lionnes on CBC/Radio-Canada, a daily live, cross-Canada talk show.
She returned to TQS to host Flash's 12th season in 2006, and hosted and produced 2 primetime specials, followed by the Gémeaux-nominated État Critique, on MusiquePlus in 2008.
Currently, she hosts Your Canadiens on TSN and NHL Network USA, Guide Resto Voir on Évasion, co-hosts ARTV's C'est Juste de la TV, and has a weekly radio show, All Access Weekend on 92.5 The Beat. She is a regular contributor to pop culture analysis shows, notably CBC's Canada Reads, and Musimax's Generation 2000.
